KPMG, a global network of professional firms providing audit, tax and advisory services, has just published its ranking of the 100 most innovative fintech start-ups.

Several factors were taken into account to establish this ranking, including the amount raised on average over a year or the degree of innovation of their products or services.

While the ranking was largely dominated by the United States, which saw 18 of its companies ranked, the UK and China also found a considerable number of their own companies in the list.

One particularly noteworthy entry into third place was Grab, the Singapore-based VTC specialist, which has worked on developing payment, transfer between friends, and insurance services since 2016.

Overall, the 100 fintechs in the ranking raised a total of $52 billion, almost double the amount raised by the 100 in the previous edition.

Here are the 25 most innovative fintech startups in the world, according to KPMG and H2 Ventures.
